Power of Two

In a downturn economy that I really don’t believe we are truly in due to outside forces but rather we are in due to our own mindset, greed and bad government policies.

Here in the States as well as South Carolina many have the mindset of selfishness and greed; along with let the government help the poor etc for that is what we pay taws for. This mindset flames a downturn economy, defeats many into overspending on credit cards, and brings the rest of us into fighting for every penny - so welcome to “Spring Downturn 2008”.

What can we do about this downturn?

It Ecclesiastes 4:13 talks about being wise even in poor as a youth is better than a foolish old man that never learn to heed warnings.

In Scripture at Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 it talks about the power of two people helping each other.

Reach out to another and together strengthen each other’s hand in this downturn economy.

I have talked many times about buyers club, which is the buying power or many. With many buying the power to buy for less is real power.

So learn the power of two Plus and see how far your spending dollar will go.

Mazal Tov,

Rabbi Dale

Gospel According to Gplof 1:1

Gospel According to Gplof 1:1
(G-D Provided Leftover Food© (T) 2008 All Rights Reserved.

In our lives, The G-D of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob blesses us with food one way or another.

Recently I have been blessed with food from my friends as well I was blessed with some leftovers from the “Soup Kitchen/Community Kitchen. That I have been preaching at for over 61/2 years, which is one of my volunteer jobs I do as the Community Rabbi here in our town.

A friend of mine bakes some sweet potatoes for me since my landlord cannot fix/won’t fix anything so I do not dare use my gas stove. If I did use my stove, the next sound I hear would be “KaBoom” after that I would hear enter into theJoy of the L-rd. While I love to see Yeshua face to face I rather not do it today. Lol

Starkis® Tuna in a pouch, leftover corn on the cob I de-hulk the kennels, Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herbs seasoning, last, a can of Campbell’s® Cream of Chicken can of soup.

I mention the products name and I do not get any re-imbursement for product mention. I signed up for Helium® and wrote some stories for them of which I never am paid and looks like I never will get paid – they like to run you around. Word of advice never write for Helium of other like companies.

I like using better grade of food when I can and you can find bargains at times or “mega buy group”, which I talk about a lot.

So here is the recipe for Gplof/Cream T ChickCorn(T) © All Rights Reserved.

I have a small frypan/2 cup pan and an oversize lid use to keep heat contained.

De-cob/de-hulk corn,

Open can of cream of chicken soup, do not add water.

Open pouch of Tuna

Break up Sweet potatoes

Place all above in fry/saucepan.

Sprinkle Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning

Stir gently turning over contents with Tablespoon.

Place over medium flame, place lid on pan, cook for five minuets or until hot, stir gently often and keep lid on when not stirring.

CAUTION: always test food to make sure its not too hot to eat.

Poor into bowl and eat when cooled down some.

It will look like Cream of Corn.

I was surprised how great it tasted, Lol

Enjoy. © 2008 All Rights Reserved

Do we dare call them traitors?

Getting ready for the Big Crash

Repeatedly you hear of the coming recession. You hear of it repeatedly but few really take in to account of what one needs to do be prepared. Hurricane season is from May 1 to November 1, everyone knows about it but few actually prepare for it.

The coming recession and the hurricane season is similar in that both you need to prepare for by stocking up necessary items to make it through an actual emergency.

While the recession may be, many more months than the hurricane season there are many more factors one has to prepare fore. Here is a short list of items you need to be prepared.

I will post one item each day, so check daily and see how one can be prepared.

Here is today’s item:

Transportation
In the light of high petro prices, one must seek alternative ways of renewable energy sources.

Ethanol is a realistic form of energy for vehicle transportation there are many factors one must go through in order to run one’s vehicle via ethanol.

1. Ethanol is a control substance and one must get a permit from the US Treasury department before on can manufacture it for use.

2. Besides corn, other vegetation is usable to make ethanol. Some have mentioned Saw grass, Kudzu, sugar can, etc. to do what is needed to research and develop to market a renewable energy source we need as a sovereign country to have the mentality that we had after Pearl Harbor was attacked. We have let out sovereignty as well as our purse strings be siphoned off by Non-Americans and we no longer can allow that to happen.

To have “Thrifty Living in Carolina and beyond we must put the politicians up against the wall and say, “We are made as hell and we are not going to take it anymore.

It is a shame how US Senator Lindsey Graham has misused his office to promote non-Americans over us. Being illegal is still illegal but not according to Lindsey Graham who suppose to know what Law is both Military and civilian.

We must look for alternative way to fuel our personal vehicles as well as commercial/shipping vehicles.

Ethanol will not be able to do it all. Let us have the mentality that we are under attack and willing to make changes to get rid of the enemy.

Truly, we are under attack by the oil producing Muslims both outside our
Borders and inside our borders.

Here in Orangeburg South Carolina
The Muslims are building with our own money an Inland port, (why inland). We allow Muslims and other foreign countries to own us. In 15 years Orangeburg and the USA will no longer belong to sovereign
Americans but rather and Non-Born in American American that has enough money to buy off Economic development officials and other power welding officials that will sell us into slavery. Its amazing how history repeats itself, for once Black Africans sold their own people into slavery we are now seeing it happen again by our own American.

Do we dare call them traitors?

Just remember to pray toward Mecca that will make our Muslim Owners happy.

Join Together to Save

Some People who write blogs have no knowledge and practical expertise and may run around trying to get free stuff and others things at other people’s cost.

There is ways to get bargains but not as some blog, writers manipulate others to get bargains.

How clear can you be not to realize that there is a definite path to have a real Thrifty live by not being sleazy or going to a pizza buffet and walking out with free pizza to take-home.

Its time to be real and work as collective units to power buy etc. Life can be Thrifty in Carolina and Beyond.

Zoom Zoom Turtleville

My Response to the one who bought a 4 Cylinder.

Four cylinders? Don't be "Livin' Clueless", you wish when you are in your grave for the acceleration of a SUV by then it will be too late. Maybe then, your family’s next car will be a SUV. Life and safety is more important than saving a few bucks. Even then, there is many ways to make you money count! Thanks for reading

In response to the blog I call "Livin' Clueless"

Get rid of the SUV? That is not very bright. Having a SUV means, you are more likely to survive a CRASH. More driveability, more room to haul the kids safely,Visibility, etc.

You could grow your own ethanol, but nobody wants to try to do that they rather have the convenience, & laziness of go, go, go.

Try carpooling, knowing where you are going and scheduling trips better, there is better options and cheaper too instead of dumping the SUV.

If you are so rich to dump THOUSANDS into another car, you therefore have the money to buy gas on the SUV you have.

Step back from the wall and look at the whole picture, BE WISE not emotional.

Is It Veggies Yet?

To those who have been “paying attention” you should already be pulling produce out of your garden. To those who have not been paying attention or just new to this blog are probably wondering what I am talking about.

I encouraged people to grow their own Veggies indoors.
People assume you can only grow veggies outside and for the past few months outside has not be hospitable for growing stuff, but the indoors has. Inside gardening and hydroponic gardening is great to do indoors so you always miss the freezing weather.

Growing your own veggies etc indoors is a great way to live “Thrifty in Carolina and beyond.

Until next time live Thrifty not Clueless, Mazal Tov.

Clueless Liz R Strikes Again - and they think Blondes are dumb, Lol

In response to Liz R taking all my posts off her Blog, because she feels uncomfortable facing reality.

Why Liz R thinks its “cute” to censorship a person who makes her feel uncomfortable because she writes about a subject she is so openly “Clueless” about. Others respond to what I wrote and slander me thinking they can hide behind the anonymously of the Web and throw flames at me that is ok because they will face the Holy One as we all will.

What is important is that they misjudge facts and are to close to the wall to see the “whole house”. There are inherited factors that the previous posters refuse to see. I think the old saying is “cutting off ones nose to spite one’s own face.”

Now let us get down to fact not fiction. The more times you cook etc has a time element. Whether you are at work on off work, your time is valuable. $10.00 an hour on the job is the same $10.00 an hour off the job – you are worth the same amount of wages off the job as well as on the job.

Most think that time off the job is not important pay wise and that why they are working for others and griping about being broke, like Liz R, gripes about her money and the lack of strechability of it. Come on Liz, "It's Paper NOT Plastic", LOL!!!

Make all of your 24-hour day work for you not against you, invest it wisely. Time is a commodity not a bottomless bucket that eventually you kick.

Liz is from Alaska and yet it seems she forgot how it is. You plant after last frost and reap before winter sets in making sure you have food to eat. You can and store, not knowing when you will be stuck inside during a storm etc.

She as others of her age is to close to the wall to see the whole house.

It is good if you have like the old family that when Mom is cooking everyone is there and its family time. But in today’s age Mom is cooking and everyone is elsewhere and there she waste her time cooking cleaning shopping etc. However, if you went to Golden China etc. you grab the food and have invested that would be cooking time to spend investing in your kids/family time.

It is sad that the previous posters and Liz cannot grasp this concept; they are still in the notion that you only save money if you shop at a grocery store.

Ah, yes how about the time you spend in the grocery store as well as the time you spend going back and forth, cooking the food as well as cleaning the dishes and pots and pans.

Bottom line is not always about saving money sometimes it is something more substantial, but those “Clueless People” will never understand that. Look at the Asian and Indian community and see how this concept works for them.

Now I will time Liz and see how long before she censors my post in her blog and I get slander by others' in her comment section. Lol.

Mazal Tov.

Oh, I forgot,

About Golden China in Orangeburg SC - YES I have an interest in it, I Love the food it is as Tony the Tiger says its GrrrrrrrrrrGreat, Lol.

No, I do not own any part of Golden China. They have the best Cut Wings and enough food to make last for two meals. It is Thrifty living in Carolina and Beyond eating.

If you cook at home, have the family there and cook a week meals at the same time.

Wrong Liz Grocery stores are not always the cheapest to buy food from

Golden China Chinese Restaurant in Orangeburg, South Carolina sells six flavored cut wings for $2.50. They can buy cheaper and pass the savings off to you. You do not have to pay for cooking gas, nor the soap and water to wash the utensils. You do not have to pay for the insurance for the house and you do not have to heat or cool the kitchen. Of course, for under $6 including sales tax (why you have to pay tax for food?) you can get a “basket” you can use for two meals.

Once again, Liz, you are so wrong. Name your Blog “Clueless Living” and write about things you know for a change. Lol.

ALTERNATIVE ENERGY to Homegrown Retailers

ALTERNATIVE ENERGY to Homegrown Retailers
©2008 by Rabbi Dale – All Rights Reserved

Why the need to get nation retail stores. The strength of Columbia is small local homegrown self-owned businesses not Wal-Mart type stores.

Once again, the government is destroying the value of Columbia so landowners and the city can make a financial plunder.

With mismanagement and a “police force "Gone Wild” as well of the shafting of the poor and homeless with the warehousing of homeless away from their resources. We are now sending Columbia into cultural and true value blight. What WERE THEY THINKING WHEN THEY HIRE A “Retail Czar” for a town that free enterprise and those who Possess an entrepreneurial spirit is treated as criminals and marginized by a got to get rich culture that has destroyed the traditions we have been raised in. Look at Orangeburg, South Carolina and see how the Wal-Marts and National Chains have shut down homegrown people from owning their own piece of the American dream. This city, this state, this country not just government but also other citizens have open the way for foreign-born to easily step over us to establish retail establishment due to they are not forced to deal with the heavy handed government regulation we are faced with as Americans. Certain industries, business etc. in our state and nation are no longer open to natural born citizens of America. This is a sad day that the City of Columbia etc. and laid our lives into slavery. I say as my forefather Moses would have said: said centuries ago “Let My (entrepreneurial) People Go into the promise land of South Carolina and All of America for we are not allowed to own as the foreign borne do in their countries. Let's us return Columbia into the great city she is.

Well its time – Part 1

Well it is Time to do your taxes and as you go through last year, checkbook receipts etc take a gander look at what your life was spent on. If you want to see what type of person, you are look at where your money was spent on and how you earned your money. Sit down with a pad of paper and your Bible and go thorough both and see where your life is today compared to a year ago.

Time to Get Serious.

As you peruse your spending documents see what “stuff” you should of, could have done without. List each item, post it somewhere where you can see it often, and steer away from unneeded spending again. It is not easy but needful to gain control of your money and spending habits.

So now sit down with a pen and paper, list one by one your unneedful expensives, and look at what expenditures could have been less.

Look at your Insurance premiums call around and see if you can get a better deal.

Look at your company stock options; if you feel good enough to work there, you should feel good enough to buy its stock.

Yesterday I talked to a fulltime employee of a major restaurant franchise and for 10 years she has never bought one share of company stock yet every week will buy lottery tickets. The return on stock versus lottery ticket winnings is more on stock, go figure.

Stop renting a home and buy one. I told this to an in house newspaper blogger and she though it was a dumb idea, yet she writes about how much she overspends each month, go figure!

Stop Smoking for not only your health and the rest of us’ health it keeps more money in your pocket.

As I said before buy in bulk in a community buy group.

I will expand more on this subject next time, until next time Mazal Tov, Rabbi Dale
